This is like reading a post from myself circa late-2009! Although It probably took me a year of doing CD to get to the same point though, so props to you for being such a quick study. There really is something about reading the weird breadth of the blogosphere that gets you thinking about it in this very material but also very social, very big-picture way. It’s definitely worth thinking about.

Hit and miss. There really wasn't enough room in the hotel for a good workout - I did one, but spent the whole time sacrificing form to avoid braining myself. And the company generally kept me too busy to get away for long enough to make it happen. We were pretty tightly scheduled from morning through bed-time. I did get in a lot of walking/stairs, so that's something. Now that I'm at the family's for vacay, not sure how it's going to play out. The time variable has improved massively, but the space issue gets orders of magnitude worse (small houses with generations worth of stuff in them make for little space to move). I'll try to get out to the park and see what happens, but it'll be hit or miss. I might be able to scavenge enough space for some limited yoga. We'll see. On a related factor, gran's hot water heater is out and it won't be replaced for a few days. So no hot water for showering. This...puts a damper on my enthusiasm to get sweaty.

Soni,

I enjoy your last statement in your about making up on the calories with the expense account. I can relate to that well.

First, it is difficult to keep up your routines on the road. Everything is off, not your own place, time, etc which is lost control of your surrounding. Two, there is a temptation, at least for me, to make up for the lost by indulging in comforts.

I commend you for this work out. How is coming overall?

Did Hurricane Irene cause problem for you in Asheville? It spared DC with no major damage. Next is the Big Apple.

Way to go Soni, pushing yourself to the limit.

You do however need to let your body/muscle recover to get the maximum benefits.

By the way, I can't do 100 push ups, not even half of that.
